It was just a typical snowy morning in South Park, Colorado. The sky was a clear blue with minimal clouds and the air smelled sweet. A red-headed boy woke to the sound of his alarm clock going off loudly and obnoxiously. He glared at his clock and slammed it off. He sat up, yawning and stretching, not at all excited about the school day ahead. Ruffling his hair, he got up slowly out of bed and donned his green pants, orange jacket, and green hat, barely attempting to brush his hair.

"Kyle, bubie, you're gonna be late for school!" His mother, Shelia Broflovski, called from downstairs. Kyle Broflovski looked back at his clock and realized his mother was right. The bus came in five minutes! He tied his shoes quickly then grabbed his bag and ran downstairs. He ran into the kitchen where is father, little brother Ike, and mother were eating. He grabbed a piece of toast, gave everyone a kiss then ran out the door.

As he closed the door, the cold wind whipped at his cheeks. He began sprinting down towards the bus stop but as he turned the corner, he ran into something hard. He fell over into the snow, his nose bleeding heavily. He shook his head and looked to see he had crashed into his best friend Stan Marsh!

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry Stan!" Kyle said, helping him up, blood dripping into the fresh white snow, turning it a crimson red.

"It's no problem! Oh shit dude, your nose!" Stan said, looking slightly horrified.

"Eh, it's nothing." Kyle said shrugging, wiping the blood with the back of his hand. Stan gave him a pat on the back.

"C'mon. Let's head to bus stop. We can get you a napkin when we get to school or something." Stan told him with a smile. Kyle smiled back, his heart fluttering a bit. Something about Stan's smile just made his day, despite the bloody nose. They walked quickly to the bus stop to find Kenny McCormick and Eric Cartman standing there, still waiting for the bus.

"Oh Jesus Christ guys, took you long enough!" Cartman complained, "And what happened with you Jew boy? Got your ass kicked finally?"

"Shut up fatass!" Kyle shouted back. Stan gave Cartman a warning look as both boys glared at each other. Kenny rolled his eyes and shoved his hands in his thick orange jacket. The four boys stood their in silence until the bus arrived. They climbed on quickly before their crazy driver could start yelling and sat down in the back.

As the drove to school, Kyle tried to clean the rest of the dried blood of his face. They pulled into the bus loop and got off with the rest of the kids. Cartman was laughing hysterically at the fact that the blood on Kyle's face looked like whiskers.

"Stop laughing, Cartman!" Kyle shouted, raising his free hand in the shape of a fist. Cartman backed away, still laughing. Kenny eyed both Stan and Kyle then quickly followed after Cartman.

"I wish Cartman would get a bloody nose." Stan muttered irritably. Kyle harshly wiped the rest of the dried blood off the left side of his cheek.

As the bell rang, both ran off to their first period class, almost tripping on the stairs. The had barely gotten to their seats when the late bell rang five minutes later. The day dragged on what seemed like forever. Kyle got relentless bullying from Cartman, Stan constantly telling him to shut up or else. Cartman was laughing so hard by fifth period that he was crying.

"You're totally Stan's, bitch, Kyle! You can't even retaliate me! Hahahahaha!" Cartman scoffed, still laughing. Stan quickly turned around and shoved Cartman hard into a nearby wall.

"Seriously Cartman! Shut the fuck up!" Stan yelled. Cartman stopped laughing and glared at Kyle then walked towards the cafeteria, his stomach growling loudly. Stan watched Cartman walk away, Kenny close by, then put a hand on Kyle's shoulder.

"You alright dude?" He asked. Kyle's face was flushed with anger, his hands balled into fists. He shoved Stan's hand off his shoulder and looked at him. Stan gave him a shocked look.

"Stop it, Stan, just stop it!" Kyle told him.

"Stop what?" Stan asked, thoroughly confused.

"Stop fighting all my battles for me, dammit! I can handle myself!" Kyle answered loudly.

"Oh, come off it, Kyle! Cartman just said that to piss you off!" Stan said, irritated.

"But it's true! You've been the one telling him to shut up and leave me alone! I seem like some stupid chick who's too timid to fight for herself!" Kyle told him.

"No you don't, dude. Stop." Stan said calmly, seeing that people were starting to stare.

"No! You stop! I don't want you to fight my battles for me!" Kyle shouted, beginning to get more angry.

"Okay, whatever man, just stop yelling!" Stan said, trying to calm him down. Kyle slapped his hands away and glared at him.

"What the fuck man!?" Stan yelled, frustrated.

"Don't fucking touch me!! I said I don't need your help!!" Kyle yelled back.

"Okay, you know what?! We're done!! I'm done being your best friend, so fuck off!!" Stan yelled even more loudly. He shoved Kyle hard and walked quickly towards the cafeteria. Kyle stared at his figure for a moment.

"Fine!! I don't care!! I hated being your friend anyway!!" Kyle yelled at Stan's back, his figure getting smaller. He stood their for a moment, breathing heavily and his head pounding. He practically ran into the library and slouched down in a fluffy chair. He stared at the red walls for the entire lunch period, sulking in his own anger and frustration.

When the bell rang, he was the first one out. His last two period were long, seeing as he had them with Stan. While Stan never gave him a passing glace, Kyle couldn't help but look over a couple of times. He saw his black hair sweep over the paper as wrote, his beautiful brown eyes looking bored. Kyle's heart was beating so fast that he thought it might burst out of his chest. A heat rose up all over his body and he wanted nothing more then to talk to Stan and tell him how sorry he was for being such a dick.

Once seventh period was over and they were let out, Kyle ran out of his class and caught up with Stan at the bus loop.

"Stan!" He called, running up next to him. Stan acted as though he hadn't heard him. "Hey, Stan, dude. Hello?" Kyle said, waving his hand in front of his face.

"Get away from me you ungrateful bastard." Stan warned him, giving him the death glare. Kyle backed away and looked at him with hurt eyes. Stan walked way, leaving Kyle stunned.

"Stan..." Kyle said, watching him get on the bus without him. He heard the bus' horn and he snapped out of it and ran on. He sat alone and in silence the whole ride, tears falling down his face. He'd lost his best friend...

Later that night, he was locked up in his room, sitting at his desk, drawing head-shots of Stan. He missed him so much. He wanted to tell him how much he was sorry and how he felt, how he truly felt. He sighed and leaned back in his chair. There was a knock at his door and his mom's head poked inside.

"It's dinnertime, bubie. You hungry?" She asked.

"No. Thank you, though." He replied.

"Okay. I'll wrap up the leftovers for you, then." She said, giving him a quick kiss on the head. As she left, he wished it was Stan who had given him the kiss. He crumpled up the paper and tossed it in the trash. He got up and crashed onto his bed, staring at the ceiling. He felt the tears spring back to his eyes and spill over onto his cheeks. He shut his eyes tightly and rolled over on his side, suddenly feeling tired.

Before he knew it, he heard a knock at his window. His eyes flew open and looked at the clock. It was almost midnight. Had he fallen asleep? The knock came again and he turned. There in the window was Stan! He stared for a moment then quickly opened the window.

"Stan?" Kyle said, making sure he wasn't dreaming.

"Can I come in?" Stan asked. Kyle nodded and Stan swiftly maneuvered his way inside. Kyle shut the window and sat down on the bed next to Stan. They sat there for a few minutes in silence, both at loss for words.

"Stan, I'm sorry!" Kyle finally said, beating Stan to it. He looked at the red-head with surprise. "I shouldn't have gotten so mad at you. It was right. You were only trying to help and I should have been more grateful. I'm so so sorry Stan! Can you ever forgive me?" Stan sighed and smiled, ruffling Kyle's hair.

"I'm sorry, too. I should let you fight your own battles and only come when you really need help." Stan said. Kyle shook his head and looked into Stan's eyes.

"I'll always need your help, Stan. You're my best friend!" Kyle said. Stan looked at him then pulled him in close, hugging him tightly. Kyle hesitated then melted in Stan's arms, hugging him back.

"You're more then a best friend to me." Stan whispered. Kyle looked up and both of them just stared at each other. Stan leaned in slowly and pressed his lips gently to Kyle's. Kyle felt his heart burst and he wrapped his arms tightly around Stan's neck, kissing him passionately back. When they broke apart, the both smiled.

"Thank you for letting me back into your arms." Kyle said, breathless.

"I'm glad to have you here."
I'm fallin' in love
But it's fallin' apart
I need to find my way back to the start
When we were in love
Oh things were better than they are
Let me back into
Into your arms
Into your arms

~Into Your Arms by The Maine

Alright, my second Kyle x Stan yaoi fanfic! It's been a while since I've focused on South Park and I feel like Stan and Kyle need some "screen time", if ya know what I mean ;) This one was fun to write since you rarely see these two fight. Well except that one episode with the ice man named Gorak/Steve xD Gotta love those SP boys!

Notice: I'm sorry if this wasn't clear but the boys are about 17 in this story so they would be in their senior year of high school! Also, I realized I gave Kenny like no lines so I apologize deeply to any Kenny-super-fans out there!

Rating: PG-13
Characters: Stan Marsh, Kyle Broflovski, Kenny McCormick, Eric Cartman
Orientation: Yaoi (boy on boy)

I'm just so happy because you actually got Stan's eye color right.
